Fishing Guide Services are available from BustersBadassBass.com located at our Fish Un Time Resort in Oakland, Arkansas on Bull Shoals Lake.
Wayne Messner is one of the resort’s owners of BustersBadassBass.com Fishing Guide Services and Fish Un Time Resort and offers professional guide service. Wayne has been fishing since the age of ten, growing up in the Adirondacks Mountains on the Great Sacandaga Lake. He learned many fishing techniques to catch largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, muskie, and many other species of freshwater fish.
Wayne’s bucket list goal is to acquire a fishing license in all fifty states. To date, he possesses thirty-seven licenses from coast to coast. He began fishing amateur tournaments when he was active duty, stationed at Fort Polk Louisiana, fishing Toledo Bend as often as he could. When he exited the army in 1993 Wayne started fishing amateur tournaments in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, qualifying for many national championships in those circuits.
Wayne discovered Bull Shoals Arkansas while fishing a national championship for a mid-western circuit that was held on Bull Shoals. He has returned many times and now permanently resides at Fish-Un-Time, guiding as many days of the week as time allows. Wayne’s passion is to teach people new techniques from beginners to advanced anglers and he loves watching people catch the bass of their lifetime.
