There are no closed fishing seasons. You can fish beautiful Bull Shoals Lake day and night year-round. Fishing is best at daylight and after dark during the summer. Night fishing for walleye and crappie is very popular. From June through Winter, Kentucky Bass are most common and during the winter Largemouth Bass can be found along the shoreline. Other common catches are white bass, blue gill, catfish, smallmouth and rainbow trout. Spear fishing, bow fishing, and scuba diving are popular because the underwater visibility is excellent.
